Do O stores generally care about returns?

Just don’t use PayPal as a payment option. I found out last year that you can no longer return items in store if you use PayPal. So make sure to just use a credit card or debit card at check out.

The same is true of those payment plan options like Affirm (Oakley) or AfterPay (Sunglass Hut), though with Sunglass Hut will still do in-store exchange, but requires mailing in for a return, even if you bought in-store pickup using the AfterPay option.

We changed that. Our new system looks up all Oakley.com orders so we can take PayPal returns. under the old system we could not.
