Wrong base curve is far from ideal; your eyes will constantly be working hard to compensate for it. I’d always go for the correct curve if at all possible.

I'm going to order in a Crossrange XL lens set soon. Hoping they'll work in a Holbrook. However as a 6 base curve it won't work in x-metals or most older models.
