I would LOVE a sport bike. Wife would never let me have it though.

But i heard from friends that Ducati's have a lot of mechanical problems. Better to go with either a Kawasaki, Suzuki, or a Honda.

wouldn't expect that from Ducati...I love the new CBR 1000RR's.
It becomes even more of a no no when you have kid's to take care of lol.

Unfortunately Ducati do have a reputation of unreliability and expensive repair/service costs.
They are Italian after all.
See Alfa Romeo, Fiat, for reliability comparison in the car world.
But Ducati make beautiful machines, there's no doubt, so you've gotta make the choice.

I'd say fk it, and buy a Ducati.

That thing is awesome, been riding bikes for over 20 years, never road a Duc though. They sound mean! I'd have to sell off half my collection but it might be worth it!

I love speed but as I get older I realize no matter how fast I go it will never be fast enough, so in essence I have learned to slow down just a bit and enjoy the surroundings more. Especially when granny changes lanes infront of you doing 180mph on a Hayabusa.....

Then again I am more of a Chopper rider, rumble and shake.....
