I want to make a pair for a friend of mine for his bday, but have no clue what to use for the red lense.

They are most likely special edition lenses that were made only for these glasses. Havent seen such a deep blue and deep red other than in these glasses

+red looks too blue/purple though to be combined with blue iridium.

ruby would be better than +red because +red looks blue from straight on, ruby doesnt as much
