Presumably he ordered sunglasses totalling $500, but what he got was just vaults with fakes inside (no box or documents)...

I would have filed a report and done everything possible to not ship them back. I would have sent them to Oakley before sending counterfeit merchandise back to the seller.

How many pairs did you buy, out of curiosity? Or were those empty cases?

Odd, if they are fakes then I thought they didn't have to be shipped back. I bought a pair of fake Frogskins a while ago and went through eBay. Once I showed them written proof from Oakley the Frogskins were fake I got a full refund and kept the sunglasses. Officially I was told to destroy them but they're sitting in a draw.
