Fakes With Boxes And Coins

If an x-metal item on ebay comes with a box and coin, to what extent does that reduce the chance of a fake? Anyone ever got a fake in a box with a coin? Just trying to get a little more savvy in my buying. Thanks.

There was a post about someone buying a fake pair with a box and a fake coin. There was some differences to spot but only if you are familiar with the regular coin.

Fake boxes, coins, vault cases..... It's all out there. Be carefull but don't be paranoid. Buy from a seller who has good previous history selling Oakley's etc. learn to spot the giveaway signs on fakes. It's been said before but I don't mind saying it again at all -

Check colour way is a correct Oakley version - sku / serial check if possible.
Check earstem tips for a bend at the end or blurred out/hidden tips.
Note the angle of the orbital join - fakes are far more 'angled' than a genuine version.
Take a look at the orbital gaskets and make sure they are actually there.
Check nose bridge fixings are rivets (all bar X Squared which are hex bolts) and not flat head screws etc.
Contact seller for confirmation if unsure.
