Impossible to name just one 'favourite' but I have watched Fury Road at least a dozen times - and I very seldom watch a film more than once, or twice if I really liked it.

The whole setting of the Citadel and Furiosas' past could be subjects of a whole host of movies.

Beautifully shot, it has a very simple plot which makes for easy viewing.

If watching a film more than once is sign of a good one, I would recommend 'Kill The Irishman'.....

Mystic River
Platoon
Heat
The Big Lebowski
Blade Runner (original)
The Deer Hunter
Eddie and the Cruisers
The Empire Strikes Back
Unforgiven

Mystic River is probably my favorite movie. I like the Deer Hunter but it is definitely not my favorite movie. I always add it to this list however, because it is what I would call a "near perfect film". It is a masterpiece.

Hard to pick one but here are some highlights from my owned list:

5 Centimetres Per Second
20th Century Boys
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Ghostbusters
Kill Bill (both)
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Rashomon
Se7en
Spirited Away
The Empire Strikes Back
The Lord of the Rings (all 3)
This is Spinal Tap
Top Gun
Your Name

I normally use Se7en as my favourite but there are times when it’s definitely one of the comedies above.

Did I mention Eddie and the Cruisers lol? If you haven't seen it, you need to. I once heard that if a movie rental place didnt carry both Eddie and the Cruisers as well as What's Eating Gilbert Grape? then it should be closed down.

Big Trouble in Little China. Movie has everything. Action, romance, sci-fi, drama and Kung Fu.
You said it! You also reminded me of Escape From New York. One of my top ten favorite scenes in film is Isaac Hayes rolling around in that Caddy with the chandeliers on the hood lol.
