I would get whatever fits your face best. Juliets are the X-metal standard but serve you no purpose if you can't feel like you look good wearing them (matching wise of course). I personally go for x squareds because they fits better on me but another reason I might throw in there for the squareds is that I am finding harder and harder to find a reasonably priced pair whereas juliets are still all over the place and can be had for well below retail. It definitely sounds to me like you don't have enough to buy both but if I am wrong I would definitely go that route. In a short time the x metals will be considered collectors items as the supply will likely dry up so get your pairs now if they are reasonably priced. my $0.02
