Finally Ordered My SI Flaks With The Prism Array

Although the single lenses model and replacement lenses are back ordered they had about 35 units of the 3 lens display for 150.00. Popped on it a long with a few other small items. One thing sucks is I just bought a set of clear lenses for 40.00 and they come with the set. Could of saved 40.00 so total cost. Oh well now I have an extra set of lenses in case I scratch them

What is the "prism" array?

The lenses strategically block specified wavelengths along the color spectrum in order to maximize contrast between selected colors in a shooting environment. The prizm array is a 3 lens set with a case like the standard flak jacket array case to hold them. Lenses consist of the new Tr22 and Tr45 prizm lenses along with a clear lens.

So in my shooting kit I will have the Tr22 and Tr45 lenses, black iridium polarized, 2 sets of clear and 1 persimmon. That should do it

Are those TR lenses similar to Persimmon or G26?

I am not sure what the exact light transmissions are for the persimmons but with the Tr lenses the higher the number the more light they let in so I would assume the tr22 lens will be closer to the g30 the the Tr45 and the tr45 closer to the persimmon

Persimmon is low 60's. TR22 would be closer to G26 in transmission.

As to what they look like to use... the world may never know.
