Fire Iridium with GREEN tint

Can the iridium coating affect the base tint appearance?

Fire always appeared to have a greenish base tint to me, but as you will read, the base tint is actually not green.

just to note for him since he is new -

fire has changed over the years. they didn't used to be so green. my old square wire 2.0 fire lenses had a more true orange look to the coating on the outside and weren't so green looking through them. on the fire lenses i picked up for my X Squared last year i couldn't stand the green tint and had to sell them.

i don't like looking through green either. it sucks because Fire used to be one of my favorite lenses about 10-13 years ago.

Violet is similar but they only bother me for the first couple minutes i wear them. then i adjust to it and i don't notice it.

Looks like fire Iridium to me..

Personally I don't get Oakley for using Fire.. It's like looking through a green bottle

My fires look like that as well. Works well with snow and bright sun, not too fond of it for other uses...
