Fixing a Broken Romeo Stem?

Sorry this may be more expensive that you thought. If the pictures are accurate, you have square hammer stems. the spot near the temple on the arms are flatter than newer R1s, vs the xx & polished Juliet arms that are a it more rounded. the square hammer stems were only found on "jordan" R1s and early sets. curious what's the serial?

also to be sure just compare against a polished juliet or XX before you start looking for a replacement. also the newer rounded ones shoudl still fit, just not "correct" restoration. .

Believe it or not I have a tio2 XX with square arms …. Never stopped to noticed until I sent it to Zach for a tune up and he noticed…

You are right though… he will need two arms or one square one!

Damn that sucks bro. And if it’s broke, why not try some welding? Interested to know if possible. Or if broken titanium is a forget-about-it type of material.

Wow either you have been eating copious amount of Spinach or as others have alluded to, Found a weak spot in the Casting. Very unfortunate, Ti welding is possible but very specialised.
