For Sale Threads Dealt with in Thread Not PM

Times I wish that the for sales threads would be BUY In The Thread only. NO PM
The first one in the Thread to say Ill take it should be the one that gets it.
That way everyone sees the transaction time .
If its in the thread its obvious.
Of course that only applies to someone buying for the exact asking price.
Deals outside of asking price are subject .
But If Im willing to pay the asking price, Then If its in the thread first I should get it first.

Often I PM the seller with Ill take it.
Im the first one in the Thread to say I will PM
But the seller regrets to inform me that they are sold. Funny Threads not marked sold.

Maybe I just have Sour Grapes

Im sure there are other opinions
I would like to hear all aspects

The lesson there is that not everybody publicly announces their purchase by posting a "PM sent" in the sale thread. You think you're the first, but you're not.

It may suck to be disappointed like that, but at the same time people deserve their right to privacy, if they want it. Not everybody wants their purchases publicly announced.
