If you're referring to the Eye Jackets, yes, they have a square hinge on the arms. Well, it's more of a trapezoid. The only wear I can find on these is the embossed "O" on the side is wearing a bit. If they are rare, or a collector's item now, I guess I shouldn't use them.

If you know how they should be treated, which, it appears you do. Then by all means , wear with pride. Just be aware the old O-Matter detiriates, they turn brittle over the years.
I'm a fan of most Eye Jackets , other than the abortion of a frame of Eye Jacket 3.0s.
