Frogskins Gen.1 without Japan on the stem?

It's definitely legit .I've owned a few with the Japan stamp missing and they were identical to the ones that were. You should be just fine.

On the real though, I find it amazing when someone knows the answer to something obscure. You gotta be a "boss" to do that
I was just wondering from what year on the Japan occurred on the Frame as a basic know-how.
O-R list this white one from 1985-1991 They continued on making them slightly after 91 but it came to a halt in like 92ish. The gen 2 then took over in a different form as u know. I actually don't know why some don't have the Japan stamp but I'm sure it's just due to changes in the mold or something at the factory in Japan. I had a royal blue, neon and a clear one missing that stamp. I also ditched all my gen 1 frogs years back as I just got kinda bored with them. The only real old frog I crave is a gen 2 crystal red. I've bought like 4 of them but all have come not as described so we're returned throughout the years. The gen ones were better and longer lasting than the gen 2 but the gen 3 and on I think will last longer than even those. I don't even remember what a gen 1 feels like to wear anymore its been so long since I've had one here. I do have a pic of some in one of my threads though.
