Seen plenty of Fakes at flea/swap markets. Most of the pawn shops around this area won't take glasses and so they don't keep em. We have a local major classified in this state and can score some pretty good deals. Alot of online garage sales list the items and takes the curiousity away. I have gotten a really good deal on a pair of scars w/ box in about 8 condition for $1.50. They were on a shelf in the garage above the item I was looking at. I asked the elderly lady how much for them. She replied $1.50. I asked again and reminded her what she had. She said she knows exactly what they are, but her sons disowned her for some reason or another so she is selling the stuff they left at her house.

my latest thing is hitting up pawn shops like cash converters lol. found a hal jacket with black persimmon transition lenses. added it to my lens set. realll nice.

yes. Pawn shops are awesome, especially if you are a capable haggler.

yeah i mmanaged to charm/whittle down the lady at the counter till she had to use her manager privelledges to give me the discount i got (some keycard for the cash register). and i was decently pleased with the price which says something haha
