gauge 8 DWP custom cuts?

Anyone out there cutting gauge 8 lenses in deep water polarized?

would love to get these, but in DWP, or even the polished chrome frame...

Any help is appreciated!

Guage 8 lenses are usually used to cut down for 8.75 BC frames because they are large. To cut a lens for a Gauge 8, you need a really big 8.75 BC lens that I don’t think exists.

Thanks for this info, this is my first entry into custom cutting and things like that - I was thinking maybe the Turbine rotor DWP would work, or even a DWP ev zero path that I've seen floating around the boards.

Shield type lenses can be cut for large glasses, but that's where the Base Curve (BC) comes in to play.

@Chris A Hardaway is by far more knowledgeable on this. See if he checks in here.

You can definitely use a goggle lens for this. Base curve doesn’t really matter if using a dome shape lens. As long as the curve around the head is similar it will work.
