I think it may be because I just don't like any of the new Oakley frame styles since the Tighropes went out of production.

Tightropes were a great throwback. They already got rid of taper too, which you might have liked.

They are functional enough, lightweight, and the optics are good with an anti-reflective rear coating that works.

I love Maui Jim... I used to wear the similar kanaha. Very nice lenses sir.... Don't tell anyone at Oakley I agree lol.

Alternating between Spy, American Optics and... the clip-ons for my rx glasses. Seriously. They're polarized and were like a $3 add on. But my Oakley's have the best lenses by far.
