Modern Masters sells a real rust paint kit...While the clear in the set works well to preserve the rust, its a semi-gloss finish. Really kills the rust finish, I wanted a matte finish and couldn't find a method for matte clearing rust effectively. I have given up for the time being... I know others on the forum have found ways to clear, but as of yet I have been unable to replicate their considerable skill!

They are made to match the 68 mustang me me and my son are building, it may be a little bit before it's done sanded most of it back down and working on the airbrush work and it will have a different color fender and door same with the fives just haven't had time to work on them but I will add some pics as they progress
