I've owned many of Half-X and like them. They fit me well, actually. I think they are not too bad of an X Metal frame, also very comfortable. But, I can't wait for the day that I can get ahold of an R2 for my collection. Good luck on your search. Be sure to let us know when you find a pair and give us your actual thoughts and comments.

I have two pairs of Half X and love them purely for the look. I hardly ever wear them but they are a must in the display case!

I'm trying to see if I can get to see the 1/2-X and R2 in person before I do anything. If not...well, I might just get both. I'm a bit worried the R2 will be too big to be honest. We shall see.

I know...I may just get them to complete the X-Metal collection. All I have are Julies and Pennys, had an XS but it was too big on me, so I got rid of it. I LOVE the looks of a Romeo...but on ME, they simply are too darn big. But...I will get one soon.

The best thing to do is bite the bullet and buy a pair of each, keep the ones you like and feel more comfortable in and post the ones you don't want to keep in the exchange forum they'll sell for sure.... FYI see the link below for an R2 i've listed for sale Good luck with your search.
