Hard Lesson Learned

Don't leave your stuff laying around where your kids can get their grubby little hands on it. If you recall I had issues with a pair of R2's and lens fitment, I pulled the set pin gaskets out and they work fine. Slid the gaskets onto the tooth pick I had been using and left it on my desk in my office...

One of the kids got in and those three items have vanished.

but of course they did. kids have "valuable, irreplaceable stuff" radar. I had my glasses in a small case at one point last year and no joke they were in the case a day out of their boxes and my son topples it while I'm at work and my wife picks it back up. I get home and I notice the pile of glasses "oh yeah, he knocked it over...maybe some horrible noise when I picked it up"...yeah, the X Metal griding into my lenses no doubt. Ended up having to replace 3 sets of lenses...surprised it wasn't worse.
