I see Oakley like Jeep. They really hold their value. You can basically buy one, wear/drive it for a couple years and trade/sell it for what you got it for. Not a bad investment but not a money maker unless you find a great deal initially.

Pound for pound, it's up there with precious metals. I think a Romeo or Mars would be more expensive than it's equivalent weight in silver..

@mickeyblackeyes Nah, just a bone frame with patina I can sell as a beater. I have original lenses and a box & coin w/o serial, but it depends how close I am to taking John's in a back alley behind the naval bar before I decide to sell
