Heater and Strike lens? Were these ever made or are they just prototypes? Did the lens actually look like that with the inserts, because thats pretty sick.

It's Heater and Strike shape for M Frame
The image is for RX and most people do not like them at all because they change the aesthetics of the lens.
I agree it looks unique in that image but the inserts protrude from the actual lens. - 3,321

They never made them for retail in differing tints/iridium. You could get maybe find a weak RX pair and sand off the iridium on the periphery of the lens.
But RX was made with the script from the factory, or as a sample with uncut inserts.
