Hello and welcome to the forum. I feel like a lot of us would use our eyegalss coverage to buy Oak's if possible.

Do you know if I can calim a pair of saftey glasses under my eyeglass coverage as I am a mechanic and require them for my job. My saftey glasses just so happen to be industrial m-frames.

Usually the coverage is based on the need for a prescription because that is what makes them a medical device. Again depending on the place they can usually offer some sort of benefit. You can also always try submitting a receipt to you insurance for reimbursement. If its a prescription ready frame whats to say your not buying the frame from one place and the lenses another. Either way it's a difficult thing to get around.
