IMHO $400 is a little steep....most likely you'll have tuneup, rubber and lens costs for both pairs....not to mention the usual casting marks typical of 1st Gen pairs....maybe not? Lets say he goes $350 for both....after tuning, lenses and rubber you're into each pair for about $300....
