Holbrook lens change fitment

[Premise]

I just took the chrome iridium polarized lenses out of my Dark Ink Fades and put them in matte black frames, but I noticed that the polarized lenses don’t fit as tight in the matte frames. I can squeeze the frame and hear it creak. It’s not a huge issue but I’m not sure if anyone else has run into this before and if I should actually leave these lenses in the frame or if this is an issue?

Hahaha, anyway I think I found the reason for difference in fitment. The black Holbrooks are an older Made in USA labeled version and the dark inks aren’t labeled this way. There must be an ever so slight difference in the molding and the newer ones lenses a just a smidge smaller.
