Hollow Point watch - band

Hi O watches connoisseurs!

Just recently acquired this HP. I wonder how many pieces of band come originally with a new package? And how many of those are the longer pieces, shorter pieces?

I noticed two type of band piece: shorter one attached to the clasp and the longer one attached closer to the watch face.

Hey bro, my Hollow Point came with the 2 links that connect to the case, 8 large links and 4 small links, and the clasp of course. Hope this helps.

The different sizes are to better help adjust the strap. Since the Hollowpoint doesn' have an adjustable pin in the clasp, like most other watches.

Thanks bro. It is just slighter heavy than a Seiko.

On the microscopic scale, HP weight pretty light. As for setting for my wrist, these are for reference:

- MM 182 grams
- HP 167 g
- GMT 229 g
- Blade II metal band 207 g
- Blade II rubber band 101 g

That probably what explains me wearing it frequently. Lightweight, great look, and the links make it a breathable band. I find my MM gripping my wrist when I am in hot weather.

Yep, some people revel in the extra weight a hefty SS watch adds but when they finally grow up they may learn to appreciate the refinement Ti adds, rugged metal design without the weight penalty...
