How do Oakley Lenses Resist Blue Light?

Not all harmful blue, just the low end/UV. Below 455 is harmful. Prizm gaming on the other hand blocks up to 500.

From Sport RX.

"Yes! All Oakley Authentic lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays, and block UVC and harmful blue light up to 400 nanometers. Blocking out harmful UV rays reduces strain and increases the long-term health of your eyes. By reducing the stress to protect your eyes, you can stay focused on what matters."

"PRIZM lenses are created, by melting Plutonite down to liquid form and then adding dyes to give it the desired color and tint. This manufacturing method is superior to other brands, because the dye is infused into the lens as opposed to being added on top of the lens as a coating. By using this technique, the UV protection and color enhancing properties cannot be scratched off."

I know this, but how the technology blocks harmful blue light is what I'm interested in.
There are two ways. A coating that reflects bad wavelengths (high energy blue - shorter wavelength) and allows to pass good rays (blue turquoise - longer wavelengths)... and secondly a material that absorbs blue light (often by using a melanin colored dye - that's why they often have a yellow hue).

Brands like essilor can use one, the other, or both coating and in mass technology.

I hope that helps anyone still following. Pro tip: tag me w a direct question so i don't have to TLDR read 4 pages.

Prizm Gaming works similarly to the Sunglass range Prizm technology - the Prizm Gaming lens uses a combination of dyes that prevent part of the visible light spectrum from passing through the lens. The Gaming lens actually blocks up to 40% of the blue violet light from passing through the lens, where the Sunglass Prizm range offers up to 20% filtration. At almost double the filtration of the standard "Blue" lens available on the market - these are ideal for people spending loads of time on screens as this technology offers the wearer a reduction in Eye Fatigue and greater contrast in their vision whilst wearing their specs!

Does prizm lens also use a combination of dyes?
