How Much Would You Pay For Something Rare?

So i came across someone who has a pair of CARBON Penny for sale. Super interested obviously... I love the penny.. Anyways, how much would you pay for a pair like this?

Also, i thought this would be a good thread for people who wanted opinions of what is a good price for which pair of sunglasses.

carbon peny.. damn. rarer than the copper. i personally couldnt pay more than $350-400 for it though.

it's like with every other pair . . . we all would pay a different amount!
for me i would pay maybe US$500-600 depends on the condition, box, coin and so on, you know . . .

Yeah i know... Just wanted to see what the general consensus were before even trying to negotiate with the guy... Damn Oakley and their one-off releases!

beware of customs done by professionals. there were previous sellers on ebay that make carbon colored pennys professionally and the result was nearly identical to the ones that came from oakley. i could not have told the difference between the one i have and the custom one except from the custom cut lens.

Honestly... It's only worth how much u are willing to pay / afford.
For me, I'll set a base price, if it goes beyond my budget, I'll let it go...
