if you take a look on value on some ichiro's actually i think my 10K for all my 12 pairs is more then realistic
it's not a easy quest to get all of them

Do you think it would be less fulfilling to get them all in one go though, rather than finding individual pieces over time? I found there was something to be said for the thrill of the chase.

If you had the time and enjoyed the hunt then yes.

But for someone who would just like to acquire them and get it over with? No.
