So, just for fun I bought this beater RJ for a few ā‚¬'s, took of the rubbers and icons, and tried to strip it by soaking it for a few days in non-aceton nail polish remover. Well, it did not come out as planned:
  • The silver paint only came off easily under the ear socks, where it was already softened by sweat.
  • The black jaws were not impressed by the chemical at all. šŸ™‚
  • The O-matter first became crazily flexibele, almost rubber.
  • A fee days later, the O-matter has stiffened again, but the frame is now extremely creaky.
So, where do I go from here? šŸ™‚

Cheers, Lars
