How to fix Oakley Minute Machine leather band and loop?

Do I need to buy a new leather band or a watch loop? I ask because the loop broke today. It’s no big deal, but curious what everyone thinks is best.

The loop you can get from any generic band and slide it onto your old band, but if you can find a new OEM band, then why not?
