Hydrophobic Coating

Do any of you guys use the pen to coat your lenses? Had 2 pair of flak jackets that didn't come with the mini-pen and was wondering if the pen was worth purchasing

Yep - I use one but you must remember to check there is no grit on it before you apply.

I know some folk who have scratched lenses because of a tiny bit of dirt on the pen.

I have used it on a few pairs of sunglasses. I'm not sure if theres a noticeable difference but knowing that it is on there is nice to know.

Or go to the oakley website and see which lenses already come with a permenant hydrophobic coating. Flak and straight jackets have it from what i remember.

I have used it on many of my M frame lenses, works great. Just make sure lenses are VERY clean before applying.
