Can someone please ID these as I'm not good with older frames..thanks
I'd say Minute. Smaller size, slight swell in the stems near the end of the socks.
Gen 2, btw. Gen 1 had the Jet Intake.
The most telling detail of the minute over the XX would be the small bare spot on the sock near the same swell in the stem. More easily seen on a white pair.
Thanks @Rustpot that's what I was hoping..$30 just for the glasses an ok deal, you think?
Maybe? I wouldn't, but I don't like small glasses. This era of frames was probably the most faked out there, as well. I'd be cautious just because of that.
That's the "bright orange tortoise" frame and they're supposed to have VR28BI. The ones in your photo are more gold, 24k, very yellow fire kind of. Which tells me fake. They match the image I posted, but I just googled "oakley minute tortoise" and posted an image, I might have grabbed a fake pair.
edit: the pair I showed have aftermarket lenses.
Pics are blurry but they look suspicious to me.
The brown is too defined in the frame color, and the lines aren't quite sharp enough around the closer hinge. Plus the lenses.
The print on the bridge looks good but the icons look like painted plastic.
Does it say "Minute" on the back above the nose piece? If it does it usually means its real.
Lots of fakes have the same marks on the back
