Cold water, Dawn ship soap, soft bristle tooth brush has cleaned up some super nasty frames.

I then take a air pump (like used for blowing clean computer parts), to throughly dry out the connection areas.

Then *new* rubber - I’ve done this process for each and every pair that I’ve picked up over the years.

Dish soap, toothbrush, pat dry with soft cloth, air compressor joints is all I ever needed. Ultrasonic jewelry cleaner for the tough jobs.
