I purchased several pair Oil Rigs clear

Nice pick up, let me know how you like the clear frames. I love oil rigs, i have several pair; but i have always been worried about how the clear frame and sunlight combo would go.

After a whole day of sailing practice we sailors look like reverse raccoons, white mask around the eyes with very distinct stem lines from cheek to ears, plus roasted lower face despite having slathered on a thick coat of high SPF sunblock. I suspect the transparent frames are the way to go, you'd get a nicely roasted temple without the odd stem line, and will look like a reverse panda instead.

Oakley lenses (and the solid frame) certainly stop all that darn UV! Sometimes I think I need a full face shield to wear with my bike helmet when I sail.
