If you love a model buy spares and lenses when Oakley discoes them. I didn't stock up on Splits and lenses back then and it is more expensive to do so now...

Don't clean with anything other than lens cleaning solution, and microfiber.
Don't use solution, when microfiber alone will do.
Don't use either if a good puff of breath will suffice.
Those lenses are as delicate as fine lady parts.

Choose your Oakleys based on fit and lens function. The frame must be comfortable for you. Don't buy something that looks cool but fits too tightly.
Flashy lens options like Ruby Iridium do nothing to improve vision.
I never wear my Rubys, always opt for specialized lenses like Tungsten or VR28 BIP.
