Hi all:

My local store manage/insider told be that after Luxottica bought Oakley, they have started some serious sad changes. The X-metal line may be dead, and Oak may be shifting more towards a clothing and accessory line. Most changes to take effect this November.

Please tell me that these are lies!!!

Hi and welcome to the forum..

Don't be embarrassed about your first post - we all start somewhere!!

You'll be pleased to know that the X Metals from the days when Oakley hit their sweet spot are still around in plentiful supply (although they may cost a bit).
There are people on this forum who can keep them as new whenever they need some TLC.
