I am pretty sure its fake. The serial number just says 1500.

Yeah, those just sold in Arizona and they same serial is for sale in Houston. Looks like someone bought a fake. Be glad it wasn't you.

For sure fake. Not a very convincing one, either I don't think. I don't think c-six fakes are as convincing as the newer x-metal fakes.

Other than thr 1500 serial, how can you tell?

A lot depends on the quality of pics, but the tell I notice is the lack of grain patterning on the black temple area on the rep. I *think* the brushing effect on the metal part of the frame is off on the reps too, but am less sure. The black part on the reps is just plastic, it looks like. The finish on the interior of the black temple parts is way better on the genuine, too.

They also have conventional screws, instead of Hexalobular bolts.

For sure fake. Not a very convincing one, either I don't think. I don't think c-six fakes are as convincing as the newer x-metal fakes.

The PB 1 out of Canada were some pretty good ones also. Very difficult to determine foak from oak.

Agreed. I don't understand why the PB1's were coming out of Canada, though. In theory, they should all be coming from China.
