Ok im happy now! We both have the same tabs and no holes. Maybe there are different generations?

Maybe the newer generations have the vents because that compartment is for shoe storage.

I believe the newer ones don't have them because the bnew ones for sale on ebay don't. Only some used ones have the vents

So you all are correct, the first gen came with holes and metal zipper pulls, the second gen has no holes and red tabs for the zipper pulls for the side pockets
