well you can look at the pics of the glasses posted and tell by the sheen it's NOT done by vacuum deposition, they are done with paint or possibly powdercoat. Vacuum deposition is the same process used for chrome plating plastics, it can be done with many many alloys and base metals. I'll bet the process was tweaked to meet Oakleys specs complicated by the Titanium construction. Same goes for the purple ones, i'll bet PAINT.
