Yes it is very authentic, I bought mine new for 175.00, why would you think it's not lagit? Plus that's his starting bid, and reserve is not met on his auction.

Considering that it's marked up (including the crystal), links removed and missing, and missing one of the rubber pads, it's only worth about $300, $350 max. I'd pass on that one altogether.

It might take some time but they pop up for sale once in a while in much better condition for around $450, if you hang in there long enough.
