Juliet Gasket Replacements

Hello,
I have a pair of Juliets I'm getting ready to sell that need a gasket and orbital screw. I have what I need, but it feels like the screw isn't long enough to but everything together.
Does anyone know how to close the gap in the frame to get the screw to work? I've never done this before, and I'm afraid I'm going to scratch or break something. Any ideas or tricks? Thanks.

I always put a little copper grease on the threads before installation. If it was me I would attempt it without the lenses in first for practice, them try with the rubber gasket in it. Once you've got the hang of it then try with the lenses in it. You should know from previous attempts what it should feel and look like.
