I think it depends on the taste of the person. Not crazy about the etching but kinda cool in a way

There also a couple others that have figured out the exact fonts Oakley previously used and are creating fake serials on previously unserialed pairs.

I saw about it, some numbers surprised me, I'm sad about it

i can do custom etching on frames but it's deliberately done so to be completely different to OEM. I'm all for custom to make a unique pair for oneself so long as some unscrupulous person doesn't try and flip the frames claiming to be some "super rare genuine Oakley custom prototype" rubbish

Imho, i really don't care much about serial# on X-Metals except those in romeo and mars, for the etched lens, X-Metal on romeo, IH on juliet thats it. Unscrupulous people exist, copying the serials and etchings will surely be attempted, us in the community will just have to abhor and not support this.

I think something like that on the stems makes them look like knockoffs. My personal opinion is if you want that do it on the lenses, not the frames!
