Juliet serial number question

im not actually considering this pair, this is a question for my own education.

There is a Juliet on eBay right now. Plasma / ice polarized. The listed serial number is 04-153 55 O 21. I checked out the Xmetal serial number list and the pattern is supposed to be IP######. What am I missing here?

Oh wait I think I figured it out. That must be a 4th gen SKU it doesn’t look like I can delete this thread tho :/

5th gen actually. 4th gen had no markings at all.

04-153 is the SKU, the 55 O 21 relates to the dimensions of the pair.

People just call any frame markings a serial number because they don’t know better.

Thank god I found this thread, I was looking into buying a pair, and the seller told me about the ones with no serial number on it, so I got insecure about it. He didn't explained nothing about it, just the change in the price.

Serial - higher price
No serial - lower price.
