Juliet & X Metal XX Options / Advice

Hello!
I was referred over to the OakleyForum.com from /r/Oakley for more information about a couple pair of Juliets that have been in storage.

I received both of these pairs from my Aunt in the late 2000s.

X metal xx

Juilets

The gold pair / silver pair I am told are 24k x metal xx?
The black pair are Juliet x metal frames with black iridium lenses.

Both sets of lenses are pretty trashed and would probably have to be replaced.

Where would you go to replace the lens? (stay as factory original as possible)
Are they even worth fixing?
Do people still wear these?
Is there a market for used pairs of these glasses?
What would you do?

Yes plenty of people still wear these timeless classics

Yes there is a decent market for these if you are looking to sell, especially right here in the forum.

What would i do? Well....that involves several midgets and a large bag of nose candy.....

How are the rubbers? Is the nose bridge loss (wiggle/flex)?

I just checked the "rubbers" on both pair and they look pretty damn good to me. No real signs of heavy wear.

I don't think I want to collect anymore sunglasses and I have been going back and forth about wearing them. But for the sake of me not making up my mind lets say I want to sell them. Should I fix them before I sell them? or sell them as is and let the next owner choose their own color lenses, etc...

Get some better pics of them from some diff angles. Lenses are dunzo, depending on how the finish has held up might give a better idea if sell as is.

The best advice you can get for x metals is to buy more. Then buy multiple display cases to showcase them.

If you’re going to sell, sell them as is. I wouldn’t waste money on getting new lenses. And whatever you do, don’t buy aftermarket lenses and then try selling here. You won’t get your money back on the lenses.
