Yes! finally got off my arse and went and got a nice cordless lithium Dremel 8200....

As soon as its fully charged I'll be having some practice cuts and pretty soon I'll be expecting some seriously funky stuff coming.

I think the thing that surprised me most about cutting lenses is just how fast you can take too much off and ruin a lens. I would advise you to find a way to either hold the lens in place or hold the dremel in place while making your cuts to give you the best control over whichever one you end up holding. One slip and that's $50+ out the window.

I just got the 4000 and cut some juliet lenses. Came out great. It's very easy to take off too much so do be careful and sand the last bit.

I recommend the corded versions. I wasn't happy with the charge time and battery life of my battery Dremel.

Can't wait to see what you can do with it though!
