Just joined, need a little help.

Hello!
I have been wearing Oakley sunglasses for over 8 years.
I started with Half Jackets and now wear Flak Jackets.

The main reason I joined is I'm having trouble finding info on my latest Flak Jacket XLJ I purchased. The box SKU wasn't helpful and I can't find any for sale on-line. Searches of this forum and on Oakley's web sites turned up nothing. Based on where I purchased them and my experience with Oakley products I'm sure it is legit. Based on what little info I have I think they are a limited run from Oakley SI.

Price tag description; SI Flak Jacket XLJ Coyote MtBk/Tgstnid
Box description; FRAME: MATTE BLACK, LENS: TUNGSTEN IRIDIUM
The box has a SI label and it has a date of 10/25/2014.
Things to note: the left lens is etched with 13 5-point stars arranged into a 6-point star, the ear socks are Coyote Brown/Tan, and the logo on the nose is gold.

What I'm looking for is any info that can establish how rare or not rare it is.
Was it released for a special event or special line now discontinued?
Would it be considered a collectable?
Any info would be appreciated!!

I do plan on wearing it. If it is special I would delegate it to special occasions (not use them for work) and hold on to the box. Also there was another pair at the store exactly like it but it has polarized lenses. If they are still available I plan on getting them.

Welcome to the forum, those look sweet, they were probably sold on Oakley SI site, that's probably why you can't find information.

Those are from Standard Issue (OakleySI.com). It even says on the box above the word "Flak".

You might be searching 009009. The leading characters are letters, not zeroes. So it's actually OO9009. Still can't find much on them, other than that they look to be legit and likely a limited run or made for a special occasion or event. That's usually the case with etched lenses.
