Leather Mars extra serial number

So I was checking out Dann's review of the Leather Mars and about half way through he shows where the serial number is also under the right nose bomb. So I checked all my Mars and none have it. None of them are leather, so if anyone has a pair handy, I'd like to know if this was on all of them. It's very curious how Oakley doesn't seem to stick any sort of standard (at least not for too long).

Yeah... that is how it works. I've seen some on the right and others on the left. This way you can tell if the frame is a match, or at least more of it...

I think the closest I'll get is a crater clone... I just need the leather and some thread. I'm pretty sure I can figure out the wrapping. I
Or I'll just get really frustrated, haha.
