Exactly!!! Until Cliff Burton came along, there was no other Lead Bass Player. And you can add SOOOOO many to that list of influenced by Motorhead.
Since discovering Motorhead's music in the nineties, I can't listen to Metallica without putting on Motorhead right after. They just flow so well together.
