Lens loose

Why? Oakley does it. X Squared, Jawbreaker, and others.

I would think there would be an issue with "shortening" the groove the lens sits in.

These lenses look like they are not crossed, correct? What are the risks with doing the boiling water trick? Is it difficult? I am a total Frogskin noob.

Just boil a pot of water and or use a tea kettle and heat the frame without the lenses in and just shape in the parts that need to be fixed. @OakleyGuru379 's idea is a good one too..
